The API reference, the requests page and the internals say that each
exported function declares its arguments' full types, which SBCL checks on
entry and at compile time where it can. destroy-proxy takes any proxy
but a display, and the errors page shows the type-error a display now
gets in place of the wl-error. The testing page gives the new count.
Follow cl-wl 1679b6b: scanner errors get their path as they pass
The scanner page shows the report of an error from read-protocol, and
says that the path and file are added as the error passes, so a
handler-bind sees them complete before anything unwinds. The testing
page gives the new count and what the new tests cover.
Follow cl-wl 37f4151: the suite's result and coverage
The suite now runs 661 checks. The table of test files names what the
review's fixes added: the order of globals, define-request's refusals,
the parts a model built by hand must have, and the shipped protocols.
The raw layer page loses wl-proxy-marshal-array-flags/address: the
marshal function itself is inlined now. The requirements and the
platform page name SBCL alone, the suite's result is for SBCL 2.6.9, and
the test commands, CI, the scanner and the allocation notes no longer
mention CCL.
Follows cl-wl 3cb259f: the raw layers are on cl-ffi, errno and pointers
to addresses come from it, so cl-wl/sys is gone, and getting started
lists cl-ffi in the qlfile beside cl-wl.
Follow cl-wl 4f0e504: five more protocols, cursors, pipes and borrowed proxies
Protocol Bindings describes tablet-v2, cursor-shape-v1, text-input-v3,
pointer-constraints-v1 and relative-pointer-v1, and the new Cursors page
cursor-shape-v1 and cursor themes through cl-wl/cursor. The API
Reference adds BORROW-PROXY and the pipes, MAKE-PIPE, RECEIVE-TEXT and
SEND-TEXT, which Requests and Events introduces and a clipboard recipe
uses; it was run against the test compositor. The raw layer, errors,
lifetimes, allocation, the scanner's protocol list, the requirements, the
test count and CI follow.
