Follow cl-harfbuzz c2314ad: tag and script are exported
The API index lists the types tag and script, Core concepts names them
in its table of representations, Shaping names script among the buffer
properties and Faces names tag for face-table. Installation adds the
names a package that uses cl-harfbuzz must shadow: tag with both raw
layers, whose struct slots have that name, and script with sb-unicode.
Development counts 402 checks.
Follow cl-harfbuzz 4b912b5: the arguments' full domain types
Errors lists what the declared types now refuse on entry: a tag of
other than one to four characters, a script that is not an ISO 15924
code of four letters, a code point above #x10FFFF and a palette beyond
32 bits, and quotes the type-error a five-letter script gets, which
cl-harfbuzz used to take. Development counts 397 checks.
Follow cl-harfbuzz d036113 and bf4203a: the suite as it stands
Development counts 50 tests and 361 checks, which now cover loading
the library too, and says that the test shapes-without-cl-ft2 gives
its fresh SBCL the suite's own source registry and output
translations, so that it never loads fasls another run built against
other versions of the dependencies.
Follow cl-harfbuzz caefc79: declared types, no global nickname hb
cl-harfbuzz has no global nickname now, so the examples are written in
a package that gives it the local nickname hb, and cl-ft2 the nickname
ft2: Home, Installation, Getting started and the FreeType bridge show
it, the tour prints its objects as #<HB:FACE ...>, and the Cookbook
and the API index say so. The systems load with asdf:load-system in
place of ql:quickload, from a stift checkout or a project that
requires cl-harfbuzz.
Errors says that a wrong argument signals its type-error in the
function it was passed to, a face where a font belongs among them, and
that SBCL warns at compile time about a wrong constant; the example
shows the report SBCL now gives. Font scales and ppem are 32-bit
integers. The FFI layer lists the enums hb-ot-name-id-predefined and
hb-ot-metrics-tag, and hb-ot-metrics-get-position takes the metric as
a keyword. Development counts 48 tests and 328 checks, and its
conventions ask for the ftype, check-type and docstrings.
Home and Installation name SBCL as the Lisp. Scope and limitations and
Outlines drop their known issue about CCL's callbacks on Windows, and
Home its link to it. Development's test command and CI description no
longer name CCL, and its count is the suite's: 42 tests, 272 checks.
cl-harfbuzz calls HarfBuzz through cl-ffi, not cffi
Follows cl-harfbuzz 373e56e: the raw layer, its library and types are
cl-ffi's, the examples use cl-ffi's operators, and installation and
development list cl-ffi where cffi was.
