The API index lists face-size-designator, transform-matrix,
transform-delta, outline-coordinate and bitmap-size, and Sizes and
transforms, Glyph objects and strokers and Outlines name each where
they describe its values.
Follow cl-ft2 e574516: the argument types are exported
The API index lists the twelve types cl-ft2 now exports, and the page
of each says which values make it up: font-source on Library and faces,
encoding and character-or-code on Character maps, hinting-target and
kerning-mode on Glyphs and metrics, render-mode, pixel-mode and
pixel-data on Rendering and bitmaps, line-cap, line-join and
stroke-border on Glyph objects and strokers, and fill-rule on Outlines.
Follow cl-ft2 3bd702b and a259317: no global nickname, declared types
cl-ft2 no longer defines the global nickname ft2, so Home and Getting
started load it with ASDF and give it the local nickname ft2 in a
package of their own, and say that the examples use it; Installation
and the API index no longer name a nickname. Core concepts and Errors
say that an object of the wrong kind is a type-error too, and that SBCL
warns at compile time about a constant argument of the wrong type, now
that every exported function declares its types. Font variations says
where FreeType's coordinate quirks are handled. Development lists
CLAUDE.md and outline-object.lisp, gives the suite's new count, and
states the conventions for docstrings, types and plain internal names.
Follow cl-ft2 8dadd52: stroke and rasterize outlines of your own
Outlines describes OUTLINE, MAKE-OUTLINE and its checks, the tags,
OUTLINE-CONTROL-BOX, RENDER-OUTLINE and STROKE-OUTLINE, with examples
run against the code. Strokers, Rendering and bitmaps, Errors, Core
concepts, the FFI layer and the API index list them. The miter limit's
description had :miter-fixed and :miter-variable the wrong way round:
a fixed miter is beveled past the limit, a variable one clipped.
